About

The Tacoma Festival of the Nativity is the largest seasonal nativity display in the Puget Sound area. In addition to an ongoing “live nativity”, it features  over 900 nativities & crèches displayed by residents of Tacoma, University Place, Fircrest, Lakewood, Steilacoom, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Sumner, and more. There are children’s activities, a family photo booth and a “Life of Christ Room”.

Accompanying the exhibit will be ongoing musical performances by local artists.

The theme chosen for this year’s Festival is “Star of Wonder, Star of Light,” taken from a beloved Christmas hymn. It inspires us each to point our lives toward Christ and partake of the wonder and light that he gives to each of us.  The Festival of the Nativity has become a holiday tradition in the Pierce County community.

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.

It is presented by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the Tacoma North LDS Stake Center, located at 1102 South Pearl Street in Tacoma, WA.
